Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion is a standalone adventure campaign that takes place prior to the events of the top selling game, Gloomhaven.
The game includes four new playable characters - The Valrath Red Guard , Inox Hatchet , Human Voidwarden , and the Quatryl Demolitionist - who have been recruited to get to the bottom of some mysterious disappearances happening around the city. Is it the work of wild Vermlings, or is something far more sinister going on?
Players must work together out of necessity to save the city, and in the process, will enhance their abilities with experience and loot, and discover new locations to explore and plunder in this Euro-inspired game of tactical combat.
